1. Recommends policies, procedures for the IT Department and submits them to CEO for discussion and approval. 2. Prepares the overall annual budget for his Department. 3. Develops and monitors the application of the IT policies: (Operations, Documentation, Information Security, Backup and Recovery Procedures). 4. Manages and supervises the daily processing, development and maintenance of IT operations and/or modules. 5. Ensures that all contingency plans and controls of the IT applications are operative. 6. Ensures that all programs undergo regular verification, checking and debugging to eliminate any accidents. 7. Ensures that backups are made at the end of every working day to avoid any risk of loss, sabotage or destruction of data. 8. Maintains contact with hardware, software and communications equipment suppliers to ensure continuous and proper functioning of the Companys IT applications. Meets, also, with new hardware and software sales people.
Job Qualification
Bachelor in Information Technology from reputable university or equivalence.
