DESIGNER

An International Company is seeking for Designer
Reports to:               Head Of Design Department
Overall Statement:        The designer will be working directly with the Design team and management, having a hand on all aspects of the design process, from choice of fabrics, colors, print colorations to the final product. The designer must have passion and a desire to make an impact. 
Detailed Tasks :
Sales follow up and trends analysis, identify target markets for designs, looking at factors such as age, gender and socio economic status.
Forming seasonal color card per fabric or product line.
Create, manipulate and recolor all prints yarn-dyes
Develop a group of products and/or accessories
Execute layouts, repeats, and colorways
Purchase new or used clothing and accessory items as needed to complete designs
Coordinate with staff involved in drawing and cutting patterns and constructing samples or finished garments
Examine sample garments on and off models, then modify designs to achieve desired effects
Establish style and trim sheets
Supervise, shoot and document finished products for each season
Qualifications : to perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each essential duty efficiently. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
Education and/or experience : A bachelor's degree in fashion /apparel design or equivalent from a recognized academic institution
With 3 years or more experience in the same field.
Required skills set :
-English language proficiency
-Leadership skills
-Good communication skills and follow up capabilities
-Resourceful and reliable
-Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, with excellent organizational skills
-Must perform well under pressure in a high energy design environment
-Self starter and results driven
-Knowledge of Corel draw and Corel photo paint or similar software is a must
-Must be experienced in building Flats, Line Sheets and Color Boards
