Strategic Sales Manager

We Offer

The Strategic Sales Executive will be responsible for the top-line growth of Strategic accounts within Damco Egypt. This will include accounts requiring specific solutions that may need to be created from the ground up for these accounts. The Strategic Sales Executive will be a key stakeholder in developing Damco Egypt’s business plan, and actions to achieve the targeted growth for this segment.

Key Responsibilities

1.Sales and business development
 Develop and Expand Damco Egypt’s market share of strategic accounts within the agreed focus verticals (Industrial, Retail, FMCG) and in line with the commercial strategy.
 Support/lead development and business expansion of landed accounts in conjunction with key account managers
 Leverage own as well as Damco local and global network to identify, qualify, develop and close opportunities.
 Prepare, lead and assist project implementation for new customers and contracts until adequately anchored.

2.Communication
 Keep all stakeholders informed at all times
 Coordinate with the Country Management, Region Management and counterpart Country teams as necessary to develop solutions.

3. Reporting
 Report periodically through CRM and/or other systems.

KPIs;

1.CM1, personal and group target
2.CRM Business won Targets – group & personal target
3.Conversion of business / implementation of business



Who we are looking for

2.Technical Competencies
 Experience in selling freight forwarding service in one or more of the markets in the Middle East (Egypt preferable.
 Experience with one or multiple Damco core industry verticals such as Industrial, Retail or FMCG.
 Commercial awareness of Egypt’s international trade.
 Knowledge of Port and Customs regulations and rules

Experience:

1.Bachelor degree
2.5+ years of experience from similar role
3.English, Professional level, Arabic.
